I have downloaded the latest version of cre8or.i.e.v0.12, dot net frameworks and the directx(9) from the cre8or website. If i run it, it gives the following message
(if you cant see the image, the message in the image is -"unhandeled expection has occured in your application.if you click continue , the application will ignore this error and try to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immidiately.

Object referrence is not set to an instance of an object.")
If i run the older version of cre8or, it works with no problem. If i use cre8or detective(A programme to find if necessary things like directx there), it says uncompitable directx version though i got it(directx)from the cre8or website. Please help. Huh

What do your system specs look like? (System Informaion for Windows is a free program that works beautifully) My previous computer had a hard time getting directx9 to install properly; even though running the instalation worked great, it didn't actually install it like it said it did.

That's alright, let me sum up all those questions:
1. What kind of a graphics card do you have?
2. If you could use a tool like System Information for Windows (located at http://www.gtopala.com/ ), what version of DirectX does it say you have installed? Look under the video tab on the right.

Anyways, the last one should really help, as it will tell which version is actually installed and running. Hope it helps.

Did you get the directX 9 Nov 08 from the Cre8or website?  It seems like version .12b really does need that version of directX.  I have directX 10 installed on my desktop but I had to install 9c from Nov 08 to get Cre8or .12b to work, I think.  Huh

Well, I have a problem with this version, IDK and IDT its direct x. I follow the Very Basic Tut. (which I know is a little outdated but I still get how to do it) and when I click "Run Game/Play" a message pops up and says: "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_37.dll was not found. Re-installing this application may fix this."

What do I do?
