I've lost all hope. Any hope i had for 0.13 is now gone. Don't get me wrong, i'm content with 0.12b... But I just feel abandoned. I was going to put time and effort into cre8or but its been sooo long since anything from KappaX...

'The Forgotten' could be a lot better with a few small changes to the KJX engine. Anyhoo i do what i can and hope people won't be too disappointed Tongue

See ya around guys.

Yea, I kindof lost hope in 0.13 too, but I am trying to improve things using 0.12, such as a premenu, I "half" got it (needs to be fixed of some small errors), so that i can set the configurations in my own menu (instead of the default configeration box), and even load up a intro video and then have it play the game! I have about 10 or so games I'm trying to make/fix/finish right now. Hopfully I might have one up here soon!

i have an trick for this, just convert your video to gif, them create a particle system in cre8or at size of your screen in material on the texture unit param, put this:

texture unit
{
anim_texture "your video file" "ammount of frames" "duration of each frame"
}

i use this to make various things like intros and cgs, etc.....

Very good! I am going to have gifs in my next release. I was thinking about it for a while, but haven't had a need yet.

How easily can you create Gifs, cre8oristhe?

Sorry, this is getting a little off topic...

AND ALL I NEEDED TO DO WAS FIX MY CODE JUST A TAD BIT TO MAKE IT WORK WITH THEM  Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry. Oh well now I'm upset, wasted a few hours of my life. I guess it isn't all that bad, since NOW I CAN JUST USE GIFS  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

i use gimp for make simple animated gifs (like fireballs, bullets trail, etc...), and if i want a scene (cg) i do them in anim8or with a very medium quality(fast), then convert in gif and optimize in gimp

for conversion i like using gif moviegear because i can change what frames i want in gif, so any problems pm me.

I never really liked gimp, mabe cause of all the errors it had on my computer, but yea, for animations I use flash, Fireworks, project dogwaffle, anim8or, and a video compiler (still looking for the best one thats free for xp), for that I mostly use window movie maker. So I dont have any problem with making gifs (especialy since it was one of the first file types I made for images), but thanks for the offer.

Alright, really now, it still doesn't work, I put it in exactly as you said and even tried numerous files (to make sure it just wasn't the gif it's self), could you provide an example??
