*Currently, this application is for global moderatorship.
*Primary job would be to move topics to where they should be. And answer some of the easy questions. Perhaps review the site for any errors (grammatical or technical) .

To apply

1) You must have at least 40 posts

2) ~50% of your posts are replies to topics other than your own. Or topics created by you are valuable.

3) Must have (one / more than one) example(s) that demontrate(s) control over ~80% of the Actions and your ability to be creative and intuitive, i.e:
    >have striking scenery
    >an unconventional usage with interesting results
    >impressive, advanced, sophisticated, or excititng game play/action

4) Clear communicator, i.e. your forum language is not hard to understand, and for the most part grammatically correct. It's a plus if you have a freindly but still authoritative personality.

- Entering process
Send me a PM first for aplication.

- Review Process
Must complete #1 and #2 requirement for my evaluation.

- Grading Process
Once you receive a PM from me, you will then post a poll here, where you release your project (can be a stand-alone). People will vote whether you project completes #3

- Final Process
I will then consider moderatorship taking into account #4. 99% of getting it at this stage. 1% for safe mesaures...

#3 is probably hard, even I'd have a hard time producing such results. The idea is that you'll be advanced enough to sometimes to help others who have easy questions.

Do I really have to be that good with modeling? dude, that ain't fair! To be a mod, that isn't necessary, becuase the main point is to be helpful, NOT be outstandingly good with graphics/modeling. That just makes it harder for you to get mods. There's only 3 topics in this forum. I can now see why. Out of, like, 20 members on this forum, (Correct me if I'm wrong) There is 5 (Or more) mods. I think you need a little more help than that. Make your requirements a little less demanding, (e.g the mathamatical percents and the striking scenery and graphics part. Not everyone is good with math or graphics!) And you'll have more applications to choose from, my friend.

As for my guesses on the number of members and mods, I'm bad at math, but not bad at using cre8or. Hardly any math is required. Just a minimal amount. All the math you really need to know in cre8or is your 123's. Those percents in your requirements just further complicate things.

I would love to be a mod, but I haven't aquired that title or anything close in places other than my site.It sucks, really. these requirements are way too demanding. And needing to know how to make Cinema quality models shouldn't be a requirement for something as simple as answering easy questions and moving topics.

Honestly, even if a person meets all these criterium the final call is still by KappaX. I never really had much for striking scenery and I doubt that I actually met all those numbers when Kappa made me a mod. But realisticly, we have 202 members at this time with four global mods and KappaX. So that works out to 40.4 people per mod. Now alot of those memers are either "amatuerteensXXX" or members that havent posted anything so the actual number of people that the mods must respond to is quite a bit less. I agree that making the criteria that people *should* achieve be quite high is a good idea. My forum has about 14 members, Of wich I have one assistant admin who has almost the same priveleges as I do (except he cant delete the admin) that does make it easier for me, because I don't have to check in as often. But at the same time it's also quite overkill for a forum that small. 40 users to one moderator is fair, and quite common amongst all the big forums around the net.

Personally, I think there should be one more thing to being a mod (not a requirement, but something good to have) and that would be at least some ability to code, I personally like Visual Basic. it's fast, easy to use, and you can punch up some pretty impressive applications in almost no time! I say this because when you hit a bug, you at least can take a few guesses at what went wrong in the program and give the developer some idea's as to where to start looking.

Thank you for your comments!

Yeah I agree, the moderator application is a bit tough. But the idea is that moderators able to help out like if some has question like "how do I get this object to move up and down like water" .... "use the sine function"

I really don't intend to measure anyone exactly up to those standards. Just to weed through people who want to moderator for the sake of being moderator, and when in position don't actually contribute.

Wow, you have to meet alot of requirements!
Moderators are not here to design or code Tongue
Their here to "moderate" the forums. It is good to know a little bit to help out but come on...

Well as demand goes up the requirements may drop. At the moment i think there are 4-5 Moderators for around 15 people which is plenty.

Now that I'm back, it really seems kinda redundant at this point to add another moderator, but like funky fists said, if we do get more people to the point where we need another moderator, the requirements might be lowered. I know that I skipped the whole voting process when I became one, but I had UFO Madness that was kinda innovative (so far as . 075 standards for innovation).
