http://www.3drad.comReally neat program(it's free too) and just thought it'd be a good representation of some nice features that could be added to Cre8or. Edit: The way the tutorials on their site are presented are pretty neat too:P

I've heard of this. Never used it, or bothered to check out the tutorials, but I allways thought it was a neat engine, and yes, cre8or could learn some things from it. But with 0.13, I think that will change. It's has way more features, visually and game playablly. Scince 0.12 and below really didnt have too much to offer visually, I and everyone else kinda has to base their games offof game play (which is the best thing, after comes story line, that makes a game a game). Graphics are nothing more than a pretty picture, but people like pretty pictures, right? But yea, it's looks like a good engine, but I'd rather wait for 0.13, hopefully it will come out soon with FIGURE SUPPORt!!!!!! Boo yea!

I'm not dissing the engine. I just liked some of the simplicity in 3d Rad:) But it used to be a paid engine and still runs off donations which got it to where it is.

A movie about you.. I didn't know you could release 2 minute movies. I think that would be called a short:P j/k
Have you taken a look at 3d Rad? Cre8or and it are somewhat similar. The simplistic interface(my favorite).

I've actually used 3Drad before...The importing feature on it is pretty bad...Its only really good for making games that involve vehicles. :/

Well I checked it out, but I never really used it. Really only good for car games???
How is the engine designed (coding and physics).
What I love about cre8or, is it's an engine that is not meant for one type of game.

The engine has a click and drag type of layout. It has a "Wheel" object where you have the bottom of the car and you can import skins for it. I tried to import files into it, but always got errors. It's an okay engine, but not for the games I wanted to do. (I'm pretty sure you COULD make a game with a human character, but it would be kinda hard)
and yes, I agree to that!

LOL. I didn't say it was perfect:P I just liked a couple of the features. I'm not really much of a car game person myself either. I prefer fps and adventure type games. Or puzzles:)
I've been messing around with Game Maker. Isn't too bad actually for 2d games and can make some basic 3d games with the gmogre extension. Hopefully cre8or grows and also gets a bigger community. Sort of a dead zone right now.
