A....wolf...for a main...character?

*spasm*

I've tried that before. A long time ago, I wanted to make a role playing game with a wolf as the main character called "Twist of the Moon" I tried using Reality factory and Anim8or to make the game. It was the first character I ever tried to rig. (I was an anim8or/animating in general noob at the time and had loads of issues) It didn't work out, and I never had a plan for the gameplay, plot, levels, or anything. So I stopped the project all together. I then came up with other projects, and actually bothered to create character designs, level maps, and all that jazz. Then I found cre8or, which was a breath of fresh air for me at the time, since I had to do backflips just to get objects into other game engines.

Now I am working on a game about a cute little squid that has to steal sammiches away from evil sea urchins. XP (I even found some old level designs near some idea sheets for my old virtual pet site! Cute, huh?)

I think I still have the wolf model. You can have it if I can find it on my computer. Its not animated, low poly, and it has a texture. (I guess you could use it in version .13?)

Wow, if you can find it that would be great! 1 thing, does it have bones in it already, and is it painted? And I use Cre8or 0.12, Ima wait until Cre8or 0.13 has more tuts becaues its still confusing.. Tongue

It should have bones, but the painting is horrible on it. I would just redo the whole thing to your liking. (You'd also have to apply solid color textures to it.)

Man, I still don't get how painting is simpler than bone influences.....

It is, once you get the hang of it.

For me, it's just trial and error. For example, if I paint a leg, and it doesn't animate right...I paint over it again and make sure I didnt miss any spots!

I still do that LOL.

Yes , once you get the hang of it, also, zoom in and move the camera ALOT! It helps.
